Aerial Camera to mount on RC planes

by Sai - on June 4, 2010

Instead of purchasing an expensive toy plane or helicopter with a camera already built into it, you could buy a camera seperate.  That way you could just pop it onto your favorite RC aircraft instead of having to replace it with something completely new.  Also if  you happen to crash the plane you’re more likely to have to replace either the plane or the camera rather than the whole thing.

iPad Waterproof Case

by Sai - on June 4, 2010

The iPad being the newest obsession for many will need all of the random accessories that the rest of the Apple products have received.  Those of you that like to be around a whole lot of water might want to consider picking up this case.  It’ll make sure you have full use of your iPad, but it will also make sure that it stays completely dry.

Kno: First dual screen tablet from D8

Today we see all sorts of different tablets with each day, but have you ever seen a dual screen tablet? If you haven’t you should know that company named D8 is working on a first dual screen tablet.

While other manufacturers are trying to make smaller tablets, people from D8 are doing the opposite. If you think that one screen for tablet is enough wait to see what D8 has to offer. Apparently, people from D8 think that one screen is not enough for tablet so they’ve developed Kno tablet that uses two screens.
This tablet is huge and it uses two 14.1-inch displays that can provide 1440 x 900 pixel resolution each. Kno tablet weights 5.5 pounds and it is using NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chip. As for the storage, this interesting device comes with 16GB storage that will be enough for all your data. Although this device is in its early stages, it can provide six hours of battery life. Because of the early development stage, Kno is quite laggy and buggy but the D8 is working on the way to improve its performances. We don’t have the official release date but we’re guessing that the final model will cost less than 1000$ when it is released.
Kno was originally imagined as the textbook replacement for students, but there’s a question how will students handle such a big device. Anyhow, Kno is the first device of its kind and D8 showed us that dual screen tablet solutions are possible.

Sound Tiles absorb noise

by Sai - on June 4, 2010

These appear to be massive thumping speakers, when in reality they are much different.  Instead of being the source of all of that noise, they’re actually what keeps it controlled.  Everyone enjoys the occasional loud night, but if you live in an apartment or duplex you usually don’t get to have those nights.  That is unless you want your neighbor pounding on your walls every two minutes and finally having the cops show up on your doorstep after you’ve refused to turn it down.  If you want to avoid those sorts of troubles, I’d suggest picking these up.

by Sai - on June 4, 2010

Sony’s latest PIIQ headphones might not be able to satisfy all of the audiophiles out there, but it ought to be able to do more than enough to rise out from the mediocre product range and offer something different, if not colorful. The PIIQ headphones will drawfrom the collective experience of artists, skaters, street culture and all-around limit-pushers when it came to the creation of such high-concept headphones, offering sound that is ready for the ride. Nokia Bike Charger kit

by Sai - on June 3, 2010

We’re not too sure whether having the Nokia Bike Charger kit is a good thing or not, especially if you are one who just cannot get enough of your phone even when going up and about on two wheels. The Nokia Bike Charger kit is pretty self explanatory – it will juice up your Nokia handset whenever you are cycling, and this won’t add to your monthly power bill since the charger will only get to work when you reach a speed of 6km/h. The kit is equipped with a Nokia Bicycle Charger DC-14, Nokia Phone Holder for Bicycle CR-124, and a Bottle Dynamo. No word on pricing, but at least it gives more incentive to get to work on two wheels instead of four.

Car-shaped house is unusual, but quite energy-efficient

by Sai- on June 3, 2010
Okay, just picture having this house in your neighborhood. Chances are, the guy living in it would probably be someone that most would avoid, because he is, after all, living out of his car.
That’s only because must suburbanites are too judgmental. If they really got to know this house, then they would see that it uses a “a ‘3 liter’ energy-efficient heating and insulation technique that optimizes all current building technologies, drastically reducing energy consumption.”‘
